Boot into safe mode if you can and remove the drivers you installed and think about getting a few of the recommended drivers to keep testing till your up and running. I'm currently on ATI at the moment so I'm not too clued up about Nvidia drivers but I'm sure there's loads of people here who could.

Could you please list all of your PC specs so others can help you out more ;).

Good luck.

yea its:
asus p5n-e sli
bfg 8800gtx
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)
corsair power supply
creative xfi sound card
Intel Core 2 DUO E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

So can anyone not help the guy?. I'm on Windows XP and with ATI. It's quite the opposite.

There are loads of Vista users with 8800GTX. I can see it in your sigs. Help this dude out and then you won't have to help that old lady in the street to make you feel as if you've done your good deed in the world for today :D .

If no1 pips up Andy I'll do a little research and try and help you out. The reason I've not done it yet that there is plenty of more people here in the know how that could save me learning it.

maybe what watts the PSU is better then just the brand name.

I take it your not OCing anything?
