HELP

I set about building my new rig today, got everything sat in place and fired her up, then nothing, well not what I expected anyway.

I get a little green light on my board, the fans kick in, the GPU kicks in, the light on my Fatal1ty kicks in but it refuses to post. My monitor keeps telling me to check my cables. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I'm thinking CPU, motherboard or GPU. I've tried the GPU in both slots to no avail, I'd welcome any help on this.

Motherboard - Asus P5N32-E
GPU - EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS KO ACS3
Monitor - Samsung 206BW

Yep, it's definitely powered. otherwise it lets out a high pitched beep. I also forgot to mention that I'm getting no beeps from the motherboard at all.

DVI cable was tightened up pretty well. I'm at a total loss over this. Everything seems to power up but I get no beeps from the motherboard and the bios screen won't post. There seems to be no signal going to the monitor.

Tried without GPU, no beeps. Took out the CPU and powered up, no beeps. Motherboard is being RMA'd to OcUK tomorrow and I look forward to another board and fingers crossed, problem over. My new Samsung 206BW is in serious need of some shiny Vista loveliness.

I've tried taking out the GPU, no beep. I took out the ram, no beep. I took it apart for shipping back to OcUk so I tried it without the CPU, no beep. When everything was in place and I tried to boot up, there would be no beep and this is what pointed me to the mobo as the main culprit.
