Hi not sure if this is in the correct place on the forum but i have an Epson stylus sx100 which is conected to a laptop downstairs and i would like to be able to print to it via my computer upstairs.

I have looked at the printer and there is no ethanet port on it i was wondering is there a way i can print to it without the ethanet port ?

if both your laptop and computer are running the same OS i.e XP or Vista then you might be able to, also if you are running over a Wireless network it might be easier.

its called file and printer sharing, you have to set it up on both machines via windows, you'll have to search for more info than i can tell you, but the machine that is plugged in to the laptop will have to be on when you want to print from upstairs.

Cheers mate both machines are xp and we are running wirelessly can the other machine be like just turned on or does it have to be logged in to a user account ?
