I need help desperatly my main system which is AMD based will no longer boot.

The System Comprise's of

Phenom II 940 @ stock
4 Gig Kingston HyperX 8500Mhz Ram
Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Mobo
2x Maxtor Dimondmax 320Gig Drives in Raid 0
3x 8800GT 512Mb versions
LG DL DVD RW Sata
Tagan 1100 Watt PSU
Cooling Custom Water

The problem i have is this last night went to bed during the early hours my system was working fine.
Checked system this morning around 8:45 and as usual it had stalled so did the usual reset to get it running again and it will not post.

So Far ive removed all but one of the video cards still wont post, tried each of the memory Dimms seperatly and still no post.

Ive removed the power and cleared the Bios for at least 10mins still wont post.

When applying power the Hdd Light remians on but the power light does not light.
Also i do not get any error beeps from the board at all unless i remove the PCI-E Power from the video card

Just wondering if a failed bios battery would stop the system from booting fully

Update

More testing done
ive moved both my ram and cpu into my semi working M3A79-T motherboard and its booting fine although it has an issue of not clocking the CPU correctly when running windows.
Other than that it went through post fine

A system shouldnt "stall" no matter how long you leave it running.

Do the fans and hard drives start up when you try to boot?

it does sound like a board failure from what you've posted, in fact it sounds exactly like a mates machine which has a dead board but thats an old Athlon 64

As for Fans Hdds etc all spin up fine including those on the 2 video cards that are still run via air.

So ive basically ruled out the psu causing the issue, and now also ruled out a borked cpu or memory.

It is looking more and more like a borked mobo.
However im at a loss as to why so sudenly as when i got up at 5:30 it was still running normally so something has happened between 5:30 and 8:45 am

I had a thought while sleeping last night
Wondering if it would be possible to take the bios chip from the 100% dead M3A79-T mobo i have ( the bios chip is working as i tested it when i got my second M3A79-T board )
Place it into the semi working M3A79-T board and Flash it with the correct bios for the M3A32-MVP Motherboard, then place it into said board and test to see if its a corrupt Bios causing the problem.
Or would this kill off the semi working M3A79-T board

It doesn't literally have to be a bench lmfao.

Just take it out of the case and plonk it on an electrical insulator like a cardboard box.

What i actually meant was i dont have space anywhere to try and run the board outside of a case.

On a good note ive got my other system running fully now thanks to a new 2nd user M3A79-T motherboard as they say third time lucky.
Got my Phenom II x2 5000 running as a Phenom II FX5000 Quad core @2700Mhz.
