I need help desperatly my main system which is AMD based will no longer boot.

The System Comprise's of

Phenom II 940 @ stock
4 Gig Kingston HyperX 8500Mhz Ram
Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Mobo
2x Maxtor Dimondmax 320Gig Drives in Raid 0
3x 8800GT 512Mb versions
LG DL DVD RW Sata
Tagan 1100 Watt PSU
Cooling Custom Water

The problem i have is this last night went to bed during the early hours my system was working fine.
Checked system this morning around 8:45 and as usual it had stalled so did the usual reset to get it running again and it will not post.

So Far ive removed all but one of the video cards still wont post, tried each of the memory Dimms seperatly and still no post.

Ive removed the power and cleared the Bios for at least 10mins still wont post.

When applying power the Hdd Light remians on but the power light does not light.
Also i do not get any error beeps from the board at all unless i remove the PCI-E Power from the video card

Just wondering if a failed bios battery would stop the system from booting fully

Update

More testing done
ive moved both my ram and cpu into my semi working M3A79-T motherboard and its booting fine although it has an issue of not clocking the CPU correctly when running windows.
Other than that it went through post fine

Have you tried resetting your bios on your dead rig?

Some rigs are really hard to get to go, so follow advise on the web for your specific mobo and see if that helps.

I fixed a dead intel PC that wouldnt post in this way earlier in the year... I was sure it was dead but all it needed was a cmos reset (which took a night to sort!)

ive done as the manual advised and even removed the battery from the board for 10 mins while looking for a spare one

How hot was it running? I see it's under water, and that it was folding, so the graphics cards were probably fine. However the motherboard adjacent to them may not be. If you had considerable airflow blowing over the board then disregard this, but if not, watercooling does tend to starve the motherboard components of ventilation.

I have tons of airflow over the mobo due to the fact im still running a couple of video cards on air. Ive got a very High speed fan drawing air in to the system oposite the video cards from the front of the case.
As for CPU temp ive yet to see it go over 50c @ 100% load with an 8800GT included in the loop.

The bit of your OP that worried me was this "as usual it had stalled" would you mind expanding a bit what you meant there. That phrase might be the clue as to what has ultimately gone down here.

For the past few months windows has been stalling but allowing the clock to keep the correct time.
Ive been meaning to wipe and re-instal it but have still not got round to it yet.
It mainly seems to be during the wee hours of the morning once i stop actually using the system and its left to its own device's aka Folding.

finally sorted it out
Had to swap out the mobo for another one and it's now back to its normal freezing every few hours.
Time to do a wipe and reinstall i think.
