hi. i have been running the 11.4 preview drivers for ages now without any issues. but this morning i decided to go for the official 11.4 drivers. so, i uninstalled my CCC and drivers and installed the ones from AMDs site. now thing is, windows freezes just after desktop loads. when you go into safemode the drivers for display adaptor have exclamation marks next to them. so, uninstalled them and installed the preview drivers, but now it freezes on desktop too. although this time safemode shows the drivers as being ok.

any ideas? dont really want to do a fresh install.

Try installing the drivers from the disc that came with the card, then install the 11.4s straight on top of the old one without uninstalling the disc drivers.

doing a system restore to yesturday. if that dont fix it then will give it a go. is a pain beta drivers worked, official ones screwed it up.

system restore seems to of sorted it. not sure how to over come this, spose its best to wait for the next round of drivers and upgrade then?

yeh, just got arma 2 yesturday and thought if i got the official drivers i might get better/stable results.
