Ok so I have an old desktop which im using just for general web browsing, word processing and iplayer etc and I cannot get duel monitors to work.
It has a Geforce 6600 graphics card which I have connected to a 17" monitor via the VGA output on the card. I also have it connected to an LCD TV via the DVI output on the card using a DVI to VGA converter and a VGA cable into the TV.
The computer recognises both screens in the nvidia display centre, but will not display out of the DVI port (even when I swapped the inputs around). I have read about the card and it does support duel monitors, but I cannot see what is wrong.
Could my DVI to VGA converter be dead or will this setup simply not work??
*Windows 7 64 bit Nvidia drivers up to date.
