I saw the MSi Live 5 updating tool online earlier and so went ahead and updated it. I downloaded it, ran it, and I had a message telling me that there was a newer version of my mobo bios available. I also downloaded this, and started up the bios install. I then had a message pop up with two options for installing the new bios. I chose to install it through Windows, set it to run, and disabled everything it told me to.
When it finished it restarted ubt when Windows got to the start up screen it just stopped dead. Tried a few more times with no joy. Tried starting iup in the Windows repair mode and this is the message I've got:

Anyone got any idea what's gone on and how to fix it!!!??

I can get into the bios but to be honest I don't know what I'm looking at and at the mo I don't want to mess anything else up, lol!

It may be an issue with windows, I'm baffled why it is not being funny on start-up.

It's never a good idea to flash the BIOS from within Windows. Look for an option in the BIOS called 'load failsafe defaults' and try that. Failing all else check your Motherboard manual as you may be able to restore the factory BIOS as with the Asus boards.

I wonder if you need to reset your SATA controller to AHCI mode in the BIOS? (or back to IDE if it's already on AHCI).
