Help!!

Finished putting together my build...

Every time I start the computer it powers for 5 seconds then resets and continues to do that. I have no idea what it is... But with the new build I got the antec 920.... Could be that but it does start up...

Specs? ( i could look at past threads from yourself, but im lazy)

Have you got the extra 4/8pin in to the motherboard near the CPU socket?

Try a CMOS reset?

I've put windows on my ssd.. But at the moment not even the screen is coming on...

i had a simuler problem first of all make sure in bios youve set it to achi i had to do a bios update then touch wood its been fine just seen your latest post thats why i updated bios wouldnt let me get in kept comming up with b2

So are you using a discrete GFX card?

Have you tried a CMOS reset?

unplug and remove battery i tried that but it didnt help can you down load the new bios from another pc and put it on a pen drive

Switch power OFF at the wall, then remove battery for a minute or so.

It's not CMOS.... Grrrr....

I'm powering with the button on motherboard.... Swithched ram in different slots... Different ram sticks...

I dnt know what else

Heres another try,

Remove all RAM.

Power up, then Power OFF.

Take a single RAM stick and place it in the slot furthest away from the CPU.

Power up, anything?

If not move this RAM stick a slot closer and repeat, keep moving it closer each time.

You have tried the new RAM in the other PC and it now doesnt work?
