HELP

Built new pc today. Got everything together and can't see any problems with connections. There is no display coming up on the monitor for the new build, yet i plug the same DVI cable into my old pc into the same slot on the monitor and it works fine.

Any suggestions?

What the spec of the new pc first of all??

Do you have all power connectors in the gfx card??

Is the mobo/hdd receiving power but just not getting anything on screen??

i had a problem with my display initially not coming on, this was due to me plugging the 8 pin power connector in the wrong way round, instead of 2 pin then 6 pin to lock it in i went 6 pin then 2 pin so it wasn't a tight fit and the card wasn't getting power, sorted that and it came on straight away

mushkin radioactive 8gb ram
1tb hdd seagate
64gb ssd crucial m4
Corsiar 850w modular psu
cooler master storm trooper case

Try only single stick of ram and do a CMOS reset.

Also is the 8 pin for cpu power connected as well as the main 24 PIN ATX connector.

Thanks for the help guys. It was the usb keyboard and mouse that was causing a problem
