Hi

Just bought a new Seasonic 850w PSU and some new 8gb Samsung Green Ram aswell as a Noctua DH-14

the problem im having is that when i turn computer on it shows red light on CPU then the light moves to the RAM and then to the VGA and then to boot device, after that its goes back to CPU and quickly flashes off and my computer turns off.

Sometimes it tries to start itself again and other times it doesnt, these freezes also sometimes dont perform the normal sequence of red lights and just freezes almost instantly, iv checked all my connections, iv reseated ram etc.

Im not sure if this makes a difference but im not plugged into a monitor and i dont have a CPU fan because i want to make sure it all works before i put big fan on

Have you tried connecting it to a monitor to see if you are getting any error messages (though you probably aren't getting that far into boot). Try reseating your RAM / removing one stick and trying it in different slots. Is there anything in your motherboard manual about troubleshooting and what thay light sequence might mean?

iv connected it too the monitor and am getting nothing these freezes are happening now more frequently and faster i think its because i have no fan on cpu and its getting hot, im going to apply new thermal paste and connect new fan and see if that helps at all
