Okay, first attempt at this be gentle with me. So I swapped from a kit to just buying the parts and got as far as attaching the PSU bridger from the Custom Loop guide only to find that I didn't have one. 
After looking at pic of the bridger it looks like all it does is short out pins 16 and 17. If I did this could I get the pump going or will blow up the PSU?
