Hi all, need to get my system working ASAP! Booted this morning to case fans running flat out. Tried to adjust via Asus fan control but it said fans needed testing as settings had changed ??? Did the test and it would not recognise the fans at all for adjustment. Rebooted but could not get back into windows. Had a CPU fan low speed error so system will not start up. Mobo is an Asus z170 Maximus viii Extreme with a Corsair sealed cooler and 4 (push/pull) fans attached. The pump is connected to mobo directly with no reported errors. The fans are connected to the Phanteks fan hub with independent power supply. I replaced the fan hub thinking that was the error but it is still the same. Checked plugs and pins (that I havent touched in years) but nothing wrong. All fans are working but there is no control either in bios or via Asus software ..... any suggestions please

can a failure with the pump show as a fan failure in bios? even though the pump is plugged into the mobo pump header? i am trying to problem solve either a faulty mobo or pump ... i had the bios up and running for about 45 minutes to see if the pump head, hoses or radiator would get warm at all .. the bios is saying the cpu is at 27 degrees but the pump head hoses and radiator inlet are stone cold ... so is it safe to assume the pump is dead?
