Hi

I've been trying to use my Astro A40's (2012-13 ish model) on my gaming PC, I can get game sound hear my friends talking but it isn't picking up my mic.

For those that do / don't know. I've connected my astro mix amp to my PC via USB, my headset then plugs into the mix amp via 3.5mm audio jack. My PC recognises the headset and selects it as the playback option for sound but it doesn't show any mic in the sound settings. Unsurprisingly when I then go into games it doesn't pick up when I talk.

I thought this would've been an easy plug and...listen situation but it appears I was wrong. Does anyone have any ideas? If you need to know my motherboard is the Asus x570. If I can't get it working I'll need some recommendations. An all in one or a mic to pair probably with some beyerdyamic 990s.

Thank you

Astro Mix amp should show as some kind source in recording tab of Windows sound settings.

I've just double checked and Windows recognises the device and it shows up in the recording tab as Headset Microphone but it doesn't pick up any sound. It's already the default option, in properties the microphone is set to the maximum level.

I've checked my microphone settings and it's set to allow apps access.
