I factory reset my pc after it began to become laggy, after it had finished, it told me to pick my keyboard layout, timeline etc, and then when i press next i get this message “Why did your PC restart?” and it says something like we think an update will fix this, connect to the internet and stuff, then once i press next, it restarts but then i’m stuck in the same loop, someone please help

This is the exact message i just found, “Why did my PC restart? There's a problem that's keeping us from getting your pc ready to use”

Sounds like a software bug. I'd probably just do a fresh reinstall windows if I got this error after just installing windows. Maybe however download the latest build of windows (into a USB drive) before trying it however.

If you want to do a fresh windows install you can disconnect your pc from the internet and skip the part when it wants you to connect to the internet if you would like that option
