Helphire

Do people still use Helphire, I know they used to be highly recommended but haven't seen them mentioned lately.

I ask because my car has been in another accident, which is highly likely to be 100% the other parties fault and I don't have a courtesy car on my policy so wondered if I should go through someone like Helphire rather than my insurer.

Yes, I used them but through the Audi dealership - SytnerDrive.
it also involved Albany...
"Welcome and thank you for using Albany to arrange a replacement vehicle with Helphire Limited following the recent incident that caused damage to your own vehicle."

Albany! I think I'll look elsewhere.

I take it I could just hire a car through someone like Enterprise and add it to my insurance claim?

The hardest part would be the legally-charged letters that justify the claim.

Ring the other insurer and ask if they will provide a car since you plan on going through an accident management company. Will be in their interest to provide you one

The other insurer is the same as mine but they have now said once they've established all of the facts they'll sort one out for me. As I can still drive the car I can hold off on the repairs and also avoid the excess.
