I am trying to help a mate out here who bought an overclocked system from OCUK and last night phoned me saying his OC had reverted to standard. Now he doesn't know a great deal about the technicalities of OC'ing so I have told him to check his profiles for an OCUK BIOS and boot that...he says he can see one there but not get it to boot. Now I haven't seen it myself, I may go and have a quick look later so I have looked for something I can just send him a link to. After a quick search in the customer service support section, under bundles and systems support ......LINK HERE.....there is a post about checking your OC and the very last paragragh, right down the bottom says " how to Re-apply my Overclock to my system or Bundle" now this is what I am after for him but I cannot find it anywhere, does anyone have a clue where it may be, I have checked through the support section and even used the search function to no avail. Don't know if its cos I am searching on my phone, I wouldn't think so to be honest, but can anyone else find this thread, or does it no longer exist maybe ?

Your mate needs to load the profile from the BIOS and then make sure they save the changes and re-boot (usually by pressing F10).

They should use CPU-Z to check the speed of the processor. They need to do this while running something to stress the processor so that it's running at full speed.

yeah, thanks for that but its kinda difficult over the phone to fully explain to someone who is scared of buggering his pc up. I told him to reload the BIOS but he says it won't let him....I shall pop and see him later and see if I can load it for him, hopefully he's just missing something simple out. He only bought it last August and is slightly peeved cos its only just out of warranty. I did suggest that if all else fails, and I can't get to him to look, that he gives OC a call on Monday, I would imagine they would talk him through his issue, even though its only about 13 month old.

I think they give him 2 Year warranty - Not sure. Whats his motherboard, CPU and RAM? People with the same package might be able to help.
