Lo all,

I've been a "gamer" since mohaa, all them years ago... A friend of a friend built my existing machine a while back ,like 5-7 years back, and its kind of lagging in the fps dept nowadays, majorly in PUBG. Its old, not ancient, and still serves me well. So im looking to upgrade some bits, I've got £800 to play with but I'd like in that a new monitor, preferably bigger than the 19 or 22" one i have now. I'm a bit of a dunse when it comes to components so I really would appreciate any help or ideas on upgrading what i have. Many thanks :))))))

AMD Phenom 2 x6 1090t socket am3
Gigabyte Ga-890fxa-ud5 MB
Corsair vengeance 8gb ddr3 memory
Radeon amd 6950 2gb graphics
ax850 psu
WD 1TB Non SSD

Thanks

ps Syncmaster p2270 screen

Thank you plec and mistersprinkles.

Yeah i thought as much. The only decent thing i have then IS the case, an antec 1200.

Could you guys recommend an HDD and psu to fit the bill please ..

And have you any recommendations for a screen?

Much thanks upfront!

Thanks Exomale.

Tbh, Id probably stick to what was first suggested as per my last post.
Sod it, its going on the credit card :)

Yep its that 1. And your correct, I dont think iv ever seen the cooler fan on lol. (probably doesnt need it with the case fans)

I might have binned all the extra modular leads (accidentaly) can you get replacements?

I'll add the 1Tb to the list... I'm on 650gb now and hardly ever go beyond..

I could stretch to £ 180/200 for a monitor....

Thanks

OT
