hi all
need abit of help to get running any ideas
gig ds4 m\b
geli pc6400 mem
con 6400 cpu
sata2 hard drive

dont seam to be able to get running keeps crashing telling me to check new hard drive for virus etc and turns off cheched bios seams ok not to sure about sata drives but looks ok checked h\d in diff machine ok any help would be grateful
have altered mem volt to 2.1 no diff

When you say you checked the HDD do you mean you formatted it and reinstalled xp on a different machine?

take out the battrery, for about 30secs put it back in and start up, you may have set something a bit wrong in bios setting without realizing

Well if your using that HDD the drivers and hardware profile will be wrong, you need to reinstall on your machine

yeah thanks i was just trying to eliminate the hard hard to see if its ok
its probly on the config some where but just cant pin point it at moment
