Here it is, ***Catalyst 13.2 BETA 6***

I don't follow mobile gpu's very much, but I was under the impression that all 7 series mobile gpu's were rebranded 6 series.

Cards?

Game?

You aren't making it very easy tbph, maybe someone can help, I honestly don't think your looking for help though.:(

I don't need help, I'm not asking for help, my 1st post in this thread was a polite and simple warning to other users to have a repair disk ready for when you install these in case you run in to the same issue I did

the 7970m is a 7870 with a small de-clock, I also have a 7950 in a desktop (admittedly I've not tried that one yet)

the main game I'd like to be able to play on my laptop is MechWarrior Online

my original post was succinct and factually correct, I really didn't intend for this to become a general AMD bashing on my part but when someone starts posting snide comments I tend to reply in kind

if anyone is trolling the surely the guy that starts suggesting I take my machine to PC world is the guy that is posting purely to get a rise out of someone? no?

Look at the 50's performance increase, and it just got better on this driver!

:D

Considering that is from H that is impressive. Been some nice improvements since 12.11 so its a shame they haven't used more up to date ones.

Considering they released the Nvidia driver comparison a month ago, it took them until today of all days to sneak the AMD one under the door, needless to say it never got a gold award though considering the gains brought.;)

Yes humbug, that's astounding performance to throw at my lonely cheapo 7950.:D

Wow i am seeing a large performance boost in far cry 3 with beta 6. None of those artifacts either that appeared in previous driver versions. I also believe they have done something with the frame latency in farcry 3 as it felt like a different game from when i last played it. A big change.

And still no release notes, what are they playing at?

Are they trying to hide something from someone?

Does anyone know why once I install the beta my CCC becomes unusable? Basically I cannot open the program and it doesn't show as active in my system tray.

Does MSI afterburner stop it working as I have that running, although I had that running with the official 3.1 drivers/software suite.

I have had that happen to me with several different drivers from AMD. Uninstall and reinstall usually fixes it but sometimes I have to install the old drivers then reinstall the new ones to get CCC working. Weird I know but that's how I did it.

Have you installed the latest .net? 4.5?

Also you might need to repair your performance counter, check your event log to see if it's corrupt or open up an admin cmd prompt, navigate to system 32 and type in lodctr /R
