I've got a confession to make, I actually got everything on Monday so I've been holding out on you but between getting everything set up the way I want it and doing uni work I've not had much time to take pics.
So there's no gratuitous 'taking it out of the box' shot but here's a couple of pics of my new desk running the 17" MBP along side my Dell 2405.
I can't believe how much easier it is to have the image or document on one screen and all the menus etc on another. It means I've got a full 24" of screen estate given specifically to the thing I'm working on... or OCUK
The only thing that it doesn't work with is Open Office for some reason. It wont let me drag it onto the other screen.
Also the screen on the MBP wipes the floor with the Dell. It's probably because it's the same res on a smaller screen but it just seems so much crisper and sharper.
Well I'm a very happy bunny, it's everything I was expecting/wanted/was hoping for and more.
P.S. Please excuse the disgusting wall colour behind my desk. It's a student house and I has no choice in the matter.
