Here what i think of Apples New Safari for Windows

It may not be cheap to buy, it may not be cheap to repair but by golly it's well designed and.... shiney.

For some reason it fails to render any text at all (including on the menu bars) for me so is a bit useless.

Shame really - it's supposed to render pages faster than firefox

If it doesn't render the text surely that will make it quicker.

Okay lets see how many of my running applications run on mac

MySQL server - no idea, but i guess not
Apache Server - no idea, but i guess not
RevConnect - no idea, but i guess not
MSN Messenger - no idea
Last.FM - no idea, but i guess not
Norton Ghost - no idea, but i guess not
Mdaemon - no idea, but i guess not
Gmail Notifier - think theres a mac version
Firefox - yeah
Windows Media Player - no idea, but i guess not

And i wouldnt want to live without a single one - and i wouldnt want to use an alternative (else i would be using it now!)

Given that Apple OSes have run on BSD for some time, I'm guessing that some/many of the above would run quite happily - you should post the list in the "Linux, OS-X and open source" forums !

Although yes as already pointed out it is rubbish, on any OS.

I personally like using safari but prefer Opera. I believe Safari is based upon Konqueror, which is a great browser
