Internet has been fine for months then today when play WOW I get booted and cant get back in.

It wont load the news in the launcher or connect to the server.

I cannot get a connection to download with limewire or utorrent but I can browse the internet fine.

Tried connecting direct to computer and it will start to download on utorrent and limewire agan and I can play WOW.

But as soon as I plug the router back in I can only browse the internet THATS IT.

I only browse internet by using the "webcache.blueyonder.co.uk" thing.

I find it strange that all I can do is browse the internet but not download through utorrent/limewire or play wow.

Any Ideas ?

Netgear WGR614v6

Resseted router and modem several times leaving off for 5m at one point and nothing.

All it will let me do is browse internet when I go through router.

I was playing WOW last night for hours but today BAM nothing.

V1.5.3_1.5.3

I tried updating it but after a long period of time it just came up with page cannot be displayed. It wont complete update.

The system has been fine for months then all of a sudden overnight it screws up.

Edit
I can also download trailers from the internet and stream them but it just refuses to establish connection to download with p2p programs or connect to World of Warcraft Servers.

To state the obvious it's a router issue as the connection works fine directly ergo so does the PC. If it was working yesterday then flashing the router with the latest firmware (while not a bad idea) just creates another variable so lay off that idea for the moment. It's unlikely to be a cable issue as you say you can get trailers/http so it has to be a router config issue. What if anything have you or anyone else changed ?

ok heres a second head scratcher, went to get dinner so thought what the hell and plugged internet through router again and when I came back up I tested it by loading utorrent and wow and now working again ????? once again, nothing changed ???? router was on all the time but internet was goingn from modem > computer.

Could something their end have screwed up the connection between modem > router ?
