I have a 3770K with an Asus MSG and 4x4 Samsung green.

It's a HTPC Build, at the moment I don't have a aftermarket cooler.

i want to OC the IGP but everytime I raise the frequency of it and boot into windows and run the index score the PC freezes.

Can you offer any advice?

I have actually used the IGP on an Ivy for a global OC Competition I came 2nd in, but that was on -100 cooling. I can honestly say I have never tried it on stock.

I would suggest you dont raise the frequency in Bios. Do it using AIsuite, then you can voltage too. Give this a try next. Watch your temps with Core temp as integrated VGA means even more heat to deal with.

Thanks for the response mate, going to have to go and install AIsuite now. I'll report back.

-100c flipping heck!!! Can you lend me some of that?

To be honest I think I really need to do a massive amount of reading in overclocking IvyBridge. My last build before this was a IP35 Pro and a Q6600 and overclocking was so simple. With Ivy there's so many different options.
