I am currently looking for a new PC gaming chair, and look for something with some back support that is going to be comfortable to game in.

I am looking at the Herman Miller Aeron currently.

Is this chair as comfortable as everyone seems to make out?
Is it easy to adjust to be comfortable?
Does it require me to have perfect posture at all times, or can I relax in a bit too?
And how much is a fair price to pay for one second hand?

Hopefully someone can answer the questions

Thanks :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Definitely going to try one out. I live near London, so might even be able to go to the showroom.

I'm short (5 foot 4) so I'll need to keep an eye on that front lip issue.

I went to London last week, and I finally managed to sit in one. I didn't actually go to the Herman Miller showroom (it's in a building behind turnstile access, and it felt weird), but I sat on one in John Lewis. It felt pretty comfy. The tilt mechanism was quite nice, although not sure how much I would use it.

My current DXRacer is trashed, and I have a bad habit of sitting cross-legged in it.

I totally forgot about this thread - I'm going to get slammed for the thread necro (although it IS my own thread).

I ended up buying a SteelCase Leap v2 from 2ndhnd (mods, if I need to remove the name, I can). I do like the Aeron - but the price over the Leap was a bit much at the time. The Leap has been great - and for around a year it was my office chair when I moved and didn't have a proper desk in my new flat. It's now back in my flat and doing a good job for my back.
