Good question DampCat.

Perhaps Hero Quest is more of a nostalgic game than one of todays mainstream boardgames?
And they didnt want to invest in something which they were unsure if there was a big enough market?
So they put it to the test as a kickstarter...
Clutching at straws probably, for me, its next years Christmas present and a game which I hold to heart. Yes £150 is on the hefty side but with all the bits and bobs, addons/expansions, and the reworked models etc.
It probably works out a similar price considering the time value of money...

I came looking for this thread and blimey talk about cooincidence. 1 year on to the day and nearly hour!
So just to make you all aware they are starting to ship this out and you can also preorder a retail version for £99.99.

Im excited to receive this. I know we are living in a different time and age compared to when we played this back in the day, but still, will be nice to play this with my kids :)
