Heroes on iplayer (VM crapness)

How come the latest episode of Heroes is on iplayer on the web, but not anywhere to be found on Virgin Media?

Just to rant a little too, i've found VM to be absolutely pants. I can never find the programs i've missed (The F Word for example). I much preferred my Humax freeview box

Or because the BBC hasn't added them to the VM servers - as Heroes is an american programme it's possible that whilst the BBC has the rights to allow streaming via the IPlayer they don't have the rights to put it out over a cable network's system (IIRC VOD rights are usually separate and there may be some distinction in the BBC's contract between the Iplayer [internet streaming] and Iplayer over cable).

Remember Iplayer on VM relies on the BBC providing the content, I doubt VM have any more say over what goes onto it (except maybe a limit on server space available, in which case something popular like heroes would almost certainly be on there).
