So a group of passengers on finding oout thier flight was being used to forcibly deport a man from the UK staged a revolt and prevented the plane taking off.

The man yelled and told the passengers flying to Istanbul he was being separated from his family and that he might be killed when he was taken to Mogadishu.

When officials gave up and removed him from the plane the heroic passengers cheered and chanted "you're free" while filming on thier phones.

Awkwardly though the 29 year old man was being deported as had finished his prison for sentence gang raping a 16 year old girl in london with his fellow gang members (one of whom died in Syria fighting for isis).

Edit: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...od-plane-passengers-revealed-gang-rapist.html. -has video

Will the passengers all be being charged same as if they did this on a normal flight I wonder.

It's ridiculous how people think that they are above the legal system. Surely they should be found guilty of contempt of court or the like.

Also, this whole silly scenario could have been avoided if the officers had just told them he was a convicted gang rapist. So much for the data protection act.

Haha could you imagine the look on the face of the shouty one after being told that. "Ohh err well .." curious if they'd cave or stick with jt

This irritates me, regardless of whether the person was good or bad. As very likely they'll just be stuck on the next plane and maybe a bit more incognito or more of an attempt to isolate them from other passengers this time...

I'm waiting for the "gang rapist flew out on first class ticket" outrage

I really want to see some follow up interviews with the passengers lol

A Tenner says this won’t be reported by the BBC.

Nah they only do important news 5 of the top ten are

New royal wedding photos,
Will Smith is going to be the genie in Aladdin,
Should the environment minister tell us to eat less meat,
Still banging on about Melinda trumps I dont care jacket,
And a kangaroo attack

Vital vital stuff

I dunno ifhetold them I could see them demanding he be removed as they don't want to share a flig hr with a rapist

Read the post I quoted asking for a link to. Now read/watch the link you’ve supplied. Is there any mention in that link that the person being deported had raped any family members of person protesting against the deportation?

I think he meant the deportee attacked his own family not hers.

Because the post you just told him to read says "his" family not hers

ahh makes more sense now - working off of about 3hrs sleep makes for a lazy brain. though i can find no reference in multiple sources for rape, only assault.

No I think that poster is mistaken.

As far as I'm aware its just an assault thing.

Still he should be deported. No country should be keeping forgien criminals thwyre the one group you can actually permantley remove with relative ease unlike domestic types

to be fair he didn't actually say he didn't mean it. what he said was 'but no...' that's not exactly an admission that he didn't mean it, it could simply mean that the poster acknowledges it wouldn't be allowed to happen (obviously)......nowt to do with virtue signalling. it was a repulsive statement to make, joke or otherwise.

So why delete it? It clearly went against the point you're making so you just did it so you could attack the guy didn't you?

At least they tried to deport this guy

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uk...-stay-in-Britain-on-human-rights-grounds.html

2 counts of rape, severe risk to children can't be deported as he may face "mistreatment"....

Currently free in the UK...
Csnt be removed a she couldn't get me take health tr3atment for his ptsd for the stuff he saw in Somalia before comming here....Then No evidence of any issues before the deportation case, it was brought on by the stress of facing deportation.

I'm sure his rape victims feel no stress knowing hes still here at all

Edit wait 5 years for 2 rapes? Jesus and the guy in the op only did 4 years for gang rape.

I didn’t delete anything. I quoted it in full. With or without the deletion of ‘but no...’ the post is utterly rancid and utterly indefensible.

Hahs you didn't wuite it in full you deleted over half the post

Namely the bit that explicitly contradicted the first and made it a sensible "but no".

Don't ******** that you quoted in full when you "sniped"

Incredibly expensive? how many deportations happen per year?

Who the **** cares... the potential for endangerment of innocent civilians may be negligible/acceptable, i really don't care about the cost of correct procedure being followed, any non-incompetent government would agree, especially non-incompetent governments that don't constantly help fuel the flames of strife that probably account for more than the fair share of deportees.

I mean hell, why bother with the expensive guards, just plop him on a plane with no cuffs, that saves money too.

Around 50-60 thousand a year.

So thst many and one incident means we should be paying 10's of thousands per head instead of the incredibly safe current procedure?

And actually yes the majority are on a plane with no cuffs etc as its voluntary.

Top 5 countries Theyr e returning to are Romania, Albania, Poland, Pakistan and india pretty sure we haven't invaded mainland Europe in a while...

How many of those deportations are specifically criminals being deported for criminality rather than expired visa/overextenstion whatever?

Clearly if the deportee isn't/wasn't violent, it's immaterial to my point, which i suppose could have used extra argument.

This deportee wasnt violent.

Shocking none of them on commercial flights have been violent...Because the violent ones aren't on the commercial flights. ..

As for the stats dunno do an FOI the stats day about 15k deported yearly after detention
