Bah, think i've had my first ever computer die on me
, nearly 5 years old though so i guess it was gonna happen sooner or later.
Received a new harddrive from the members market, slid that in without issue and put the side panels back on. Switched on the PSU, green light on the mobo but no life what so ever when i hit the power button on the front. Nothing happens, the green light on the mobo stays solid green, it doesn't fade or anything like i previously saw with a dead PSU, no fan spin up at all, no beeps. I've chucked the hard drive into my main computer and it works perfectly so it can't have shorted anything out on the computer. I've unplugged and put back in every connector, tried booting it with no hard drives plugged in at all.
I'm stumped. Time for the bin?
