After the great advice and support I received from the community when I wanted to order my PC (it's still going great 18 months later!) I recommended my brother in law to OCUK.

He has a budget of around £1000 and would like a PC to give him the "most bang for my buck."

The price will have to include a monitor (22-24") and be a OCUK built system.

Any thoughts?

Thanks :)

Sorry. Yes. Windows 7 is preferred, and it will be used mostly for games. He already has a decent mouse he uses with his laptop.

I put this together, buy you guys are much more knowledgeable than I!

This would be my choice, i have made some compromises like a smaller ssd but it has the latest processor from intel. I-5 haswell is far more powerful than the FX-4 4100

Thats very nice.

I'd go for that.

If you were going for AMD, the 4100/4300 is a bad choice.

You should atleast get a 6300 or even a 8320.

Though overall the 4670k is still better than all of those. :)
