No stupid i am not waiting for AMD. I am an intel fan block head (read my sig stupid). My statement was based on when i will have enough money to afford a really fast pc, powerd by a Kentsfield chip. I will be getting a promotion in october which means that i will be getting a really big pay rise. Therefore meaning that i will be able to afford a kentisfield based pc by december. So fool mind ** own business. :D come on christmas 2006 yay

Not always! I plugged in my Gigabyte DS3, 1Gb of OCZ DDR2 800 and an 805D and although it took some time windows did sort it self out and worked fine :eek:

gave it a fresh install the next day though just for the hell of it.

It's the change in chipset which could cause this :) A Windows repair will fix it quick but better to do format/reload from scratch for best results :D
