hey guys querey on the solid state drives.

It will work but the speed of the drive will be limited by the SATAII interface.

The latest OCZ drives did have some issues earlier which may have been resolved now with the latest FW. Another option is to get the OCZ Vertex 2E which is on offer this weekend which is known to be a very reliable drive.

I'm in the same dilemma.

hmmm yeh because im not sure weather spend the cash on a sata3 if the speeds are just going to be the same as a sata 2 you know...

Well the OCZ Agility 3 won't be any quicker than say the Vertex 2E but then if you carry it over to a new build with SATAIII then at least you'll get the full benefit from it. I would go with either the Vertex 2E whilst its on offer or stump up a bit more for a Crucial M4 which are solid as a rock. (I'm running one in a HTPC with SATAII and it works perfectly fine albeit I'm not making the most of its fully speed).
