Hey guys im thinking of buying a second build obviously a cheaper one for when my friends or GF are round and want to play along or generally have something to do other than the xbox.. :')

heres my current setup, specced my stulid 5-7 months ago and built by myself..
GFX - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980Ti G1 Gaming 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
MOBO + CPU - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 - Devils Canyon Core i7 4790K CPU & Motherboard Bundle
CPU COOLER - ACX EVGA CPU cooler, Black - 120 mm
SSD - Samsung 1.0TB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive
PSU - XFX XTR 850W '80 Plus Gold' Fully Modular Power Supply
RAM - TeamGroup Vulcan RED 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit
CASE - NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case - Black / Red
Monitor - 2 x Dell UltraSharp U2515H 25" 2560x1440

so basically I was thinking of taking the CPU+MOBO+CPUCOOLER+RAM out of this build putting those into the secondary build maybe even using the case on the secondary build, and buying a new one for my primary, I was wondering if some people could recommend me some upgradeable parts for myself, and obviously some parts for the secondary build..

basically I have a spare SSD the exact same as mine plugged into my xbox as a External storage drive atm so could always throw that into it, then obviously it would need a GFX card not top of the line but decent enough, and a psu and other things..

for my own PC I was wanting people to spec me some well erm better parts? it doesn't matter much on cost as I can buy them over time and buy them bit by bit, im thinking an AIO cooler this time round, obviously DDR4 RAM either 16gb or 32gb, whichevers recommended, what CPU and MOBO I should go for basically games I play the majority of the time are H1Z1, CS:GO a few MMORPG's, Elder scrolls and a few others.. so yeah sorry if all this seems like a massive paragraph just trying to explain the best I possibly can!

have you used that softxpand yourself? that looks very interesting tbh! and what so no point really going 32GB ram wise? probably not on do i use something that would benefit from 6 cores tbh i was just more aiming to future proof them a little! hmm maybe i could just stick with the 4790 and change mobo and go DDR4, if this is possible with this cpu anyway?

it was more the cpu cooler I was thinking of changing as I use a H440 and there not the best for letting air pass through, so was thinking of putting an AIO cooler in over the EVGA air cooler im using atm what do you guys think?

anybody recommend a decent corsair AIO that would fit in the current h440 may consider changing the case if it would provide better airflow as i can always use the current as a spare to build the second rig inside as i say!

its not meant to better my main build, the idea of the 2nd build is i had a spare so people can use it when there here to play the same games as me the only reason i was going to put my parts into it was because i was going to put an AIO cooler in mine and go DDR4 + new mobo + new cpu as all the ok not old but used ones would be going into the 2nd build with a less powered gfx card was all, it may get used a lot when friends are over gaming too and it may get used a lot less it honestly depending how many times im in my house gaming or if im out and about elsewhere just taking my rig with me man!

I just wanted it to be fairly decent hence using the parts out of the current main build, and using better parts back on the main build to have two decent functioning units as it will more than likely get used a lot, im just playing it as it may not be used as often in case it isn't hah but worse case id use it as two seperate machines one for upstairs or downstairs if it wasn't being used enough! :)
