Hey, I am Nike. 
Hopefully going to become active around the forums and learn a thing or two about building a PC along the way. I know the PC Community aren't very forgiving whenever someone gets something wrong but I will try to avoid making any nooby mistakes.
Even I do get something wrong, I know there will be enough sarcastic replies to go from here to the 'contact us' button at the bottom of the page, this is the internet after all. 
So feel free to say 'Hello' and try to overlook me being a noob. (Which I am)
I am sure it will only take a few days before I see who the 'top dogs' are around here. (Usually the guys with the ridiculously high post count)
Well, other than that I can't think of anything else to say other than to list what computers I have.
(Prepare to cringe as it is nothing impressive which is why I plan to build a PC.)
Acer Aspire 5720
-Intel® Core™2 Duo processor T7500
(2.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB L2 Cache)
-Up to 358MB Mobile Intel® Graphic Media Accelerator X3100
-2GB DDR2
-160GB HDD
Also, have a family computer downstairs which is around 7 years old but isn't worth talking about.
All I remember is it has 512mb of ram and a CPU with 1GHz
As you can see my life is a living hell with these crappy bits of hardware but hopefully with a bit of knowledge here that can eventually change.
