If you know the email address that's associated (I believe) I think they can check for your details, if you are going to keep with a new account it would be good to try and get them to delete it as well, tis the polite way forward, I had to do the same a while back too =]
Have been a member for a few years and not posted that much over the time but always read the forum, am now back and on a new account
You should have emailed a Mod for those details as having a second account is breaking the rules fella and you could get banned for that.
I'd email a Mod and see if they can get your old account details back to you.
