Hey everyone,

Figured I'd introduce myself, as I intend to turn this place into a daily click. Where to start? Just hit the big 30, spent a lot of my 20's figuring out what I want to do, pursuing passions I have and now left with the only passion I haven't fully actively explored and one I'm going to change my career to, I.T. I've always had an interest HW/SW and played around a lot with systems when I was much younger. It only dawned on me that I.T as a career felt "right". I'm a glutton for experience and currently binging how to build on YT as well as starting my journey on the CompTIA ladder. I bought the "Upgrading and repairing PC's" by Scott Mueller and came across CompTIA. It sparked a small flame, which remained dimly lit until I came across a thread here about the qualification. Few hours of googling and now here I am, committed and ready to rock. I was considering doing a software engineering conversion course at masters level, but something has got me thinking that I may be better off doing the CompTIA's and getting into an entry level position asap, opposed to 9 months plus thesis studying. Anyone with any experience with either avenue, feel free to chime in! Before all this, at the point I realised I wanted I.T, slammed my C.V all around and pretty much got nowhere. I have the soft skills and personal ability to thrive and succeed, but not the bit of paper to get me through to the interview stage. Once I'm in that room, that should be me set.

Anyhow, that's enough rambling from me. No doubt you'll see me kickin' about!

Thank you if you got this far :)
