Afternoon all,

I did a search but couldnt find anything so I thought i'd post a linky...

HFS Explorer

Enables you to view HFS+ volumes within windows xp/vista and is darn handy...

Its probably been posted before - but you're getting it again anyway....

Even though its technically windows software, I plonked it in here... feel free to move/delete as necessary...

I used MacDrive during the period when I switched back to Windows Laptop and needed files out of my external... it was good, until I installed daemon tools, SPIDF or whatever that file is called, is altered and can never get it to work again unless reformatted.

Shame I've reshuffled my external HDD into NTFS now...

Alcohol120 or something?? I'd heard about that!

I'm just knackered now - cos I can't format the external drive using windows...

/long story!

Any ideas folks? I've got 30gbs of music and stuff on my work laptop and want to use my external hd to transport it back to my mac.. D'oh! :)

Tom

You mean you want to transport those music and stuff (porn? :p) from the NTFS laptop to your Mac via your external HDD which is HFS formatted?

You've all got shocking minds! Its 28gb music and 2gb photos (ALL TAKEN BY ME I HASTEN TO ADD!)

Which makes 30gb - no pron for me... thats what the missus is for! :)

At the mo, the external drive is formatted in HFS+
I'd like to reformat it in windows so I can copy my music back to the drive...
Then copy the music off the drive onto my mac/backup

As the drive won't show up in windows I dont have the option to 'send to'!

/jibberish!
