I am thinking of modding the HG10 that's fitted to my 780ti but wanting some input first.
when i look at the HG10 with the blower fan. and NO heat sink, i cant help but think that a fan that put's air into the base plate would be better that the blower fan that just throws air round.
there is no heat-sink inside the HG10 mount so there is nothing for the blower to put air over... so that's way i think it the blower is doing nothing other than making noise?
would a normal SP type fan blowing air at the base plate not do a better job and be quieter? or ever an GPU fan like you see on a cooler like wind force.
