I am going to upgrade from 480 gtx sli to 680 gtx sli, however, the 480 is like a tight fit, would a) the 680 gtx sli fit into my pc if sli 480 gtx does and b) will it support the 680gtx if my motherboard supports the 480??

I'm not sure my motherboard make, anywhere I can find this? My case is obsidian 800d the the fully tower case.

Any help will be appreciated ! Many thanks

No problems switching from 480 SLI to 680 SLI. Are you going to water cool or are you used to the noise? :p

They will require less power than your 480's and should run a little cooler.

Download CPU-z from the link below. Once you've installed it and opened it, under the tab mainboard you should see your motherboard details there. No need to take your GPU out etc.

Problem with this method is that CPU-Z would sometimes only tell the series of the board, not the exact model. But I guess there's no harm if OP want to try that first.
