Is there anyway to find out which is the best ISP at your local exchange?

UKFSN seem to be getting worse for me , ive been with them 2 years i moved from Nildram(was with them 5-6 years) tempted to change ISP asap.

Samknows will tell you what LLU options are available, but there's no such thing as "the best ISP", at your exchange or not.

intresting is saying that Entanet has no LLU in my area , but sky/ Easynet has! ... so Easynet then maybe Be. As they are getting enabled at the end of the month

Looks like your getting Be/O2 unbundled in your area. What for that and change to it. Its around the same price as UKFSN, but much much faster.

EDIT: Holy crap. Be is getting enabled at my exchange to! Damn right. Northern Ireland must be getting a huge LLU overhaul this year

At the mo Ukfsn are very very bad , were good a year ago

lowest game ping ive had is 20 (that was with Nildram) ill be going Be Pro. i've emailed them and they have said signg up end of March

to reap the benifits 1.5miles from my exchange

And once on ADSL2+ speeds should be pretty consistent with all the bandwidth they have bought for it, 20 interconnects each 1Gbps, London ones could be 10Gb (unconfirmed). Think they are ordering another 10 in fact.

I've never looked at Tiscali at all (defo wont change ) The name just wants me to kill something & the adverts are pants

I'm going for Be Unlimited which is the same as Pro but with a lower upload speed. I very very rarely upload so i dont mind it. cant wait for Be to be unbundled in June. I probably won't get a huge increase since i live 3.19km from the exchange (birds-eye view), but it should be better than what i currently have and cheaper to

You'll be going via BT Wholesale, like the vast majority of ISPs.

Using your scale of Be being bad, Enta being very very bad then Tiscali are at least very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very bad.

lucky if i get 300kbps these days via ukfsn , used to get 500kbps , lowest last week was 70kbps , with 170 - 200 ping with TFC2 :/

No problems here with UKFSN, was downing at over 500k yesterday off peak.
