Hey all,

My son wants his first PC and has a budget of £1600 which is to include a monitor. Please could someone have a quick look over and sanity check/give any criticisms if needed? He wants 1440p but understands that the machine will be entry/mid level so may not run everything.

I've not bought an AMD graphics card for years and years so is this card ok??

Any suggestions would be massively appreciated.

You could also opt for a cheaper cooler such as a Thermalright Peerless Assassin for around £30. They have RGB variants.

I did look at Air but have been away from it so long I wasn't sure what was decent or not. I'm guessing dual tower has more performance but obviously wider footprint?
