I'm still trying to sort out the upgrades to my pc.
I currently have a P4 2.8 on an Abit IC7-Max3, with 1Gb of PC3700 DDR. I've also got an Radeon X1600 Pro 256mb card.
I have 2Gb of Geil PC6400 DDR2 already. Will be getting (probably) a Gigabyte DS4 mobo and an E6600.
I'm trying to save a bit of cash (because I don't game) on the graphics.
I watch a lot of DIVX, XVID and increasingly hi-def videos.
What sort of card can I get away with? Does the playback of these files depend on cpu/memory or graphics?
