Hi everyone, nooby question

Depends, that specific heatshrink is used to improve the looks of fan cables etc (from colour cables to one uv reactive thicker).
Feed the cables through it then blow it with a hair dryer to shrink, never bothered with those things myself as i prefer to keep as many cables as i can out of sight

Right, I just bought the "Case" and "Motherboard" :D Didn't go for the CPU Cooler or cables etc, I finally came to my senses :P So, everything should work fine then lol :p?

lol cpu cooler would've been a wise choice but one thing worth doing now is taking an accurate as possible measure of the clearance from cpu socket to case side panel. At least then you'll know how much room you have to play with should you go down that route in future :P

Hmm, not too sure about that now without those cables, cross yours fingers and it should be ok

Whats the difference with a modular and non modular psu? Also from that comparison chart it sais that p5q pro's can support ddr 3? I didn't know this , would it be worth upgrading to ddr 3 from 8500?Oh maybe not didnt reat that properly my p5q pro can only do ddr 2 ah well.

Modular = cables can be seperated from it meaning you only use the cables you need to.

Non modular = cables are all permanently connected to it, so you end up with a mass of cable and connectors sitting idle somewhere inside the case.

Yeah they have a DDR3 version but unless you need the boost in memory bandwidth and higher oc headroom (8500 allows plenty enough if you ask me :P) i don't think its worth it

Should I got the cpu cooler? But you said if I don't overclock the stock one will be fine??????????????? I'm not gonna overclock you see ??? What do you mean cross your fingers without those cables?

Yeah stock is perfectly fine, just you worded it as if buying an aftermarket wouldn't have been sensible :P

Sweeney, the stuff came :D Looks great! So, are you sure that all my stuff will fit in it? ( My dads friend is gonna build it all once he is not busy ^^ ) Oh I forgot to mention, will their be enought room for my Soundcard Wireless card and Graphics card and stuff????? (I hope so! ) ^^

Yes the stuff will be fine. Im assuming both your soundcard and wireless card are pci, so they should simply slot into the 2 pci slots at the bottom (the white ones). The graphics card goes into the blue one so there will be no clearance issues between them what so ever.

Nope it's DDR2 only, the chipset on the motherboard does support it but only on a specifically designed motherboard (P5Q3 i believe is ddr3).

You shouldn't feel the need for it for a LONG time coming anyway and when you do need to upgrade it there'll be plenty new equipment to upgrade with.
