Hi Fi System for around £600.

Dali speakers were the best semi budget speakers I ever owned, i had Lektor 1 and 2. Probably the modern version costs much more now though the way prices for everything have gone up and up

Scouse is a dish. Liverpudlian is the correct term. Also didn’t that joke die out in the 80s. You’ve probably never even been to Liverpool or know/met any one from there.

I know what scouse it. I have been to Liverpool and I know Liverpudlians. One of their nicknames is 'Scouser' as a matter of fact :)

Have a great day.....

be wary old of devices like that- rubber bands degrade etc. Tracking could be out

I'd argue that CD players are among the easiest things to self-repair even if you're not particularly tech savvy in that regard, but it's still a bit of a gamble.

Usually you just need to replace the band and give things a good clean and a bit of oil/grease.

If it's "tested and working" it's unlikely to be a bad laser or anything major if the tracking is off.

If the OP has a cash converters nearby it's worth popping in, they sometimes get some decent hif-fi separates and AVR's etc that can be had on the cheap, relatively easy returns too vs online.
