hey guys,
im new to the world of pc's but hopefully with the help of overclockers i can get a little better but until then i guess i will browse the forums.

oh...and im looking to build a high end computer for gaming and other stuff but completely clueless when it comes to what parts go best with each other. if anyone reading this can help me out, it would be much appreciated.

This is normally a dead forum really and you won't be getting much tech advice. You want to go over to the General Hardware subforum and make a thread there. Just tell them your needs and the budget and they can help you from there. You could even look at some other threads to help you to write your own.
