Hiya,
My names Jordan i'am from Scotland i want a PC for gaming, i would like it to be make with some of the best stuff out there at the moment, as i'am not make with money

But i need a lot of advice on the subject, so any help is welcome,
My budget is £1000 or less.

Yes but i have old one's lying around so if the price goes over £1000 i don't need to add them just now. But i will need an OS and anti-virus.

I personally would have got the next motherboard up for £129.99, the 2600K and maybe stepped the graphics down to something like a 570. It's hardly much of a difference from a 580 and has a huge price drop.

lol i don't think my mum want to spend £1000 on my first gaming pc is all, would you say Kaspersky is better than Norton ?

p.s guys i am new to all of this

Ok I will trim it down a bit and yes Kaspersky is better than Norton or you could get a free anti-virus such as Avast which is what I use and is pretty good

How much do you think you could spend?

Yes. Kaspersky is a LOT better than Norton. Used it proudly for 4 years.

Couldn't he use free anti virus software such as AVG or Anitvir? There just as good, saving £20..

Well i could spend £975(£1000) was maximum, I want it for GTA so it has to be able to run GTA on max settings and i might buy BF3 as well ?

GTA is a hard game to max even on the best computers it is very poorely optimised.

Yupyup. It's a console port so like you say, really, -REALLY- badly optimized for the PC ^^ Big dissapointment tbh.

Also, from the BF3 trailer it's reported that only 5% of PC's will be able to cope with graphics set at the level they are in during the trailer so I'm sure it will be playable but it's very hopeful that for £1k you get a system to max it out and have everything on.

Get Avast! antivirus. It's free, and very good. Whatever you do, don't get Norton.
