Hi all…

I don’t know why I ‘landed here.’ I did a search for a fan for one of my laptops, which my Uncle promised to install; but hey, y’all know that when a guys says he’s gonna do something, he could mean next week, next month, next year, never. lol

In any event, during the search online I found OC, and read a few threads in the general section. I was a bit daunted at first when I realized that the site appears to be a ‘man cave,’ not a lot of female input; but I figured that I’ve overcome bigger issues, so I joined up. One never knows if one might need technical advice…

No, no… Don’t roll your eyes, lol. We women have been known to be capable of following technical instructions. Why, only the other day I removed a segment of a watch band, from a watch that was a Christmas present, and which was too large.

Well I thought it was clever of me.

Just one question, regarding the avatars here: Why do I gotta have a guy’s picture on my avatar? I can’t seem to find the function to upload one that is, shall we say, more feminine?

I hope this thread won't end up in a gender equality rally. Having a no avatar is an option though. But an interesting point.
