Hi, how do I remove grub?

Hi i want to remoe ubuntu and grub from my pc leaving only vista.

It is like this

*Hard Drive 1*
GRUB -- WINDOWS BOOTLOADER -- WINDOWS VISTA

*Hard Drive 2*
Ubuntu

How do I nuke Ubuntu and grub leaving vista intact?

ps. Nothing against ubuntu but I need hard drive 2 for my new pc
 
Yikes, wheres my cd.


Its a vista upgrade cd for hp computers and there aint no option. There is a command line option can that help?
tried fdisk /mbr said command not recognized

The old Windows XP way of doing it was to boot the install disk, go to the recovery console, and run fixmbr. I don't know if this'll work for Vista.

You could borrow or obtain through some nefarious source a Vista disk since you won't be installing anything you wouldn't be violating the license (much).

There are some other disk tools that can restore a Windows bootloader. I think Ghost does it (don't quote me on that) and maybe others.
