Hi guys and gals

Im a World of warcraft player its the only online game i play

Since i only play 20hrs a week i dont want to go OTT on a system but i do want to be able to play everything on maxed settings so im getting the most for my money

So spec me a set up will need OS (have all Peripherals) just want to move up from a laptop

Price not that big a issue (cheaper better) but like stated dont want to go OTT on things (but want to be handling the next expansion with out to many upgrades)

the 560TI will be fine for WoW and if you want to play anything else you wish to play

I5 2600K will speed though any game and also be good in overclocking

win7 pro is just your OS

SWAP the motherboard for this one Gigabyte P67A-UD3 Intel P67

PSU will be suitable for upgrades and long term use

case is good with excellent air flow and has room for 5 optional fans

memory is fast quick and easy , also good for overclocking

g500 mouse has had very good reviews

sidewinder keyboards are meant to be good and sturdy although change as you wish its very much up to taste when it comes to keyboard and mouse

good reliable hard drive

and an aftermarket CPU cooler to keep things cool :D

Thing I notice about WoW is its deciveing. Its a very demanding game to play, even with my system with a I7 980x and 2 580s with 6 GB for Corsair GT I STILL can't run WoW with everything maxed at a solid 60+ FPS.

Now, bare in mind that I am playing at a high resoutuion of 1920x1080 with Multi Sampling on full and shadows on full, so if you do want to play WoW maxed settings smoothly on a med budget system you will need to lower the resoultuion quite a bit. It will still look amazing though, maybe 1280x720?

Thanks for the addvice i manage ok with me laptop ATM just have shadows set on low everything else is maxed and i still get 50fps in SW and heroics

Just waiting for when i start to 25man raid and hoping the FPS dont drop to much on AOE parts

Why not just get W7 Home Premium... Cheaper and doesn't give any notable advantages getting professional for OP's uses...

True this, you will not use anything in windows 7 pro/ultimate (even if you do have all the money in the world) you probably won't even know where the new feateres are located or if they even are there, ultimate and business is mainly used for home networks/business networks on a grand scale. I guess the windows XP mode would be OK but come on, who has programmes that only run in windows xp mode nowadays?

Don't waste your money on pro, your a gamer, get the gaming version of the OS, home premium : )
