I have finally decided to splash out a little and update my 8 year old PC. With the ReAct Configurable SLI Pro Gaming Bundle - MSI Z87 - Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.3GHz and 8Gb RAM.

The machine that I used to run was top spec at the time it was bought and has lasted well. But it just can't cope with the demands that I'm placing on it now so it was good value for money at the time. The new kit will blow it out of the water, so I'm looking forward to that

What are the rest of your new specs? Or what will they be? And because I'm nosey... What were you upgrading from?

I'm upgrading from an old (2005) and actually still running quite well system the basic specs are:
Processor: AMD Opteron 180 Dual Core
MB: Asus A8N32-SLI-Deluxe
Video: ASUS EN7900GT-TOP- SLi
Memory: 2Gb
Drives: Western Digital Caviar SATA II
All wrapped up in a Cooler Master Wave Aluminium Case

I'm keeping the case as it still in fantastic condition and I still like it, but the internals are changing to:
Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (overclocked by the good people at overclockers to 4.3)
MB: MSI Z87-G43 Gaming Series
Video: Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 (2Gb)
Memory: 8Gb (1600 Mhz)
Drives: Western Digital Black
Cooling: Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler

Is not a fantastic super PC but it will be a load faster than what I am currently using. I can't wait to get it going. I plan to post something in the Project Logs section when its in progress/done.
